Goin' Digital Show

Dr. Greg Goins is a veteran school leader with 15 years of experience as a school district superintendent throughout southern Illinois. He is also the host of The Goin' Digital Show, a podcast that features many of the nation's top school leaders, authors, film makers and innovators in K-12 education. The Goin' Digital Show is a member of the Education Podcast Network. Dr. Goins is also an Associate Professor in Educational Leadership and specializes in leadership theory, school and community relations and the principalship. He previously served as the Chairman of the Illinois Beta Club Council, representing the state for three years as a member of the National Beta Club Board of Directors. Beta Club is the nation's largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization with a mission to promote the principles of academic achievement, leadership, character and community service for more than 450,000 active members. Laura Fleming is an award-winning library media specialist at New Milford High School in New Milford, New Jersey. Fleming is the recipient of the National School Boards ‘20 to Watch’ in Educational Technology Leadership, as well as the author of the best-selling, Worlds of Making:  Best Practices for Establishing a Makerspace for Your School. She is also the creator of a successful digital badge-based professional learning platform.
 
Cate Tolnai
 
Cate Tolnai works as an Academic Technology Specialist for the Santa Clara County Office of Education and has been researching and advocating for gamification of professional learning since 2013. Matt Friedman
 
Matthew Friedman is currently the Chief Academic Officer in the Downingtown Area School District overseeing K-12 academics, professional development and technology.  Prior to coming to Downingtown Area School District he was the K-12 Assistant Superintendent for the Mars Area School District, supervisor of curriculum/instruction and staff development, a middle school assistant principal, and activities director in the Keystone Oaks School District.  He also previously served as a ninth grade teacher at Penn Hills School District.
